Opera on Tap

Opera on Tap was born in 2005 at Freddy’s Bar and Backroom in Brooklyn and incorporated in 2007 to promote opera as a viable, living, and progressive art form and to support the developing artists who continue to keep the art form alive. Performing in various casual venues in Seattle, OOT has grown into an innovative force on the classical music scene that has gained a loyal Seattle audience base.

Pacific Northwest Opera

Pacific Northwest Opera, formerly Skagit Opera, presents fully staged professional opera in northwest Washington State, showcasing the substantial regional talent, supplemented with national and international artists. Pacific Northwest Opera presents its major productions in Mount Vernon at McIntyre Hall, an ideal venue for opera with superb acoustics and sightlines.

The Metropolitan Opera HD National Northwest Region

The Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions program began in Minneapolis, St.Paul in 1954. The auditions are organized and produced by a network of over 1,500 volunteers in the 42 districts, which are grouped into 12 regions. The Northwest Region, one of the first to be established, is divided into four districts: Washington; Western Canada; Oregon; and Idaho/Montana.

Seattle Gilbert & Sullivan society

The mission of the Seattle Gilbert & Sullivan Society has remained unchanged since its founding in 1954: Provide the highest quality musical theater productions at an affordable price. In addition to producing all thirteen of the Gilbert & Sullivan operas, we also produce works by other composers, as well as training and education for actors and students.
